Tanya Grigoroglou, founder of RAW Editions, a gallery specializing in post-war and contemporary prints, wanted to institute a homely atmosphere for sharing her collection. "As a dealer, I always envisioned moving beyond the intimidating sanctity of traditional gallery walls,” she explains, hoping for a more inviting experience in art appreciation. Tanya and her husband, Rupert Worrall, realized this vision in their newly purchased Victorian terraced house, which doubles as their family home and by-appointment art showroom.

Working alongside the creative duo, Amalia Skoufoglou and Jody O’Sullivan of O’Sullivan Skoufoglou Architects, they transformed their abode into a vibrant yet restrained intersection of family life and artistic expression. Amalia describes the result as one of balancing bold choices with subtle elegance, saying, “There is a restraint, but there are also a lot of bold elements.” The home’s design allows for frequent hosting of clients, incorporating functionality while maintaining an artistic flair.

Tanya expresses satisfaction with features like the unique custom fireplace made from rust-colored recycled terrazzo, celebrating her connection to Liverpool-based art collective Granby Workshop. These thoughtful decisions reflect a commitment to blending aesthetic appeal with practicality, creating an atmosphere that feels nurturing for both family and guests.

The home's features are defined by a harmony of colors and materials. The kitchen reveals speckled granite juxtaposed with sage green concrete tiles, while the dining space showcases an eye-catching blue-and-red table by Muller Van Severen.
