"When they bought the home, it hadn’t been lived in for several years—think Grey Gardens, but in Pasadena," remarked Daniella Gohari, design director at Electric Bowery. Despite its state, the house retained historical charm, providing the perfect canvas for restoration and reimagining.
By removing walls and raising ceilings, the team achieved a seamless flow throughout the 6,188-square-foot structure. The outcome: a sophisticated yet welcoming urban retreat that accommodates contemporary living without sacrificing timeless aesthetics.
